Art Theory and Criticism Graduate Program (Master's Degree)

The Graduate Program in Art Theory and Criticism offers a research-oriented academic environment dedicated to the critical examination of art through theoretical, historical, philosophical, and cultural perspectives. The program encourages students to investigate contemporary artistic practices by integrating critical thinking, scholarly research, and interdisciplinary approaches.

Recognising that understanding and interpreting art is as significant as artistic production itself, the program supports advanced studies in aesthetics, art criticism, visual culture, and cultural theory. Students are encouraged to develop independent research while critically engaging with historical and contemporary debates in art and society.

The curriculum combines theoretical coursework, seminars, and academic research, enabling students to contribute original perspectives to the fields of art theory, criticism, and visual culture.
