General Introduction

 

GENERAL INTRODUCTION

Akdeniz University Fine Arts Institute was established on 03.07.1992, Painting and Graphic Departments Master Degrees program, which were opened within the Social Sciences Institute before its establishment, were transferred to the Fine Arts Institute on 18.10.2007. Within our institute, we currently offer education in various fields through fifty faculty members, encompassing the main disciplines of Painting, Music Performance, Art and Design, Ceramic, Carpet-Kilim and Antique Fabric Patterns, Cinema TV, Graphic, Sculpture, Photography, and Performing Arts, as well as the doctoral programs of Art Theory and Criticism, Textile and Fashion Design, and Musicology, all supported by our faculty members.

Our institute provides postgraduate education opportunities in various fields of art, aiming to cultivate contemporary, creative, competent, and socially conscious individuals.
